Nigerian Army Uncovers Gun Manufacturing Factory in Kaduna State

Troops on Operation Hakorin Damisa in Kaduna State have discovered a gun manufacturing factory in Kafanchan, thanks to a week-long intelligence operation. This led to the capture of a wanted gunrunner named Napoleon John, who confessed to his involvement and revealed the hidden factory run by Monday Dunia.

The factory yielded a haul of 22 weapons, including pistols, locally fabricated AK-47 rifles, military-grade AK-47 rifles, and revolvers. Additionally, they found ammunition, machine tools, and a gas cylinder.

In another raid in Adua 1 village, the troops recovered more weaponry, including AK-47 rifles, ammunition, dangerous daggers, and various gear, along with identity cards, gunpowder, charms, and amulets.

The GOC/Commander OPSH praised the troops for their dedication and pledged to apprehend all fleeing syndicate members. He issued a stern warning to sponsors and criminals to abandon their unlawful activities and urged the public to continue providing information.

General AE Abubakar assured that information would be handled with utmost secrecy and confidentiality.
