The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has identified two passengers arrested for allegedly trafficking 200 wraps of cocaine concealed in their stomachs while attempting to travel from Nigeria to France.
The suspects, identified as Aliocus Godian Odife and Sam Blackborn, were arrested on October 28, 2026, during the outward clearance of an Air France flight AF 832 from Abuja to Paris at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
According to the NDLEA, a body scan conducted on the passengers revealed that they had ingested large quantities of cocaine, prompting their arrest and subsequent observation to enable them to expel the illicit substances.
Odife allegedly excreted 110 wraps of cocaine weighing 1.901 kilogrammes, while Blackborn excreted 90 wraps weighing 1.559 kilogrammes.
The combined seizure amounted to 200 wraps with a total weight of 3.460 kilogrammes.
The agency disclosed that Odife, who reportedly resides in France and works in a factory, had arrived in Nigeria on October 21, 2026, for a holiday before attempting to return to Europe.
The two suspects are expected to face further investigation and possible prosecution over the alleged drug trafficking offence.
