The Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Akure, Ondo State, has struck out the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Eyitayo Jegede, against Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Bayelsa State Police Command have arrested a 35-year-old woman, identified as Priye Richman living in Okutukutu area, a suburb of Yenagoa, for inflicting life-threatening injuries with razor blade on her teenage daughter, Ebimi Tokoye, over missing N1,500.
