105 medical doctors resigned in Ondo State over poor welfare package

No fewer than 105 Medical Doctors resigned from the Ondo State hospitals in the last one year, according to Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in the state, Dr Stella Adegbehingbe. He disclosed this in a statement attributed the mass resignation of medical doctors to the trend on irregular and percentage payment of salaries by the state government. Angry youths in Awka, Anambra State, on Friday, set ablaze a truck loaded with cows, over the death of some children hawking wares at Kwata flyover junction in Awka, Anambra State capital.
