The Presidential rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC), held on Monday at the MKO Abiola stadium, Abeokuta, was hurriedly brought to a close by the party due to violent attacks. Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has been removed as the state campaign coordinator of the All Progressives Congress party by the National Working Committee of the campaign council. The decision followed the recommendation of the disciplinary committee set up by the Imo APC over allegations of anti-party activities levelled against the governor and others.
