Lagos State Government has said the Third Mainland Bridge would be temporarily shut down for four days starting from midnight of August 23 to midnight of August 26 for “investigative maintenance test” to be carried out. Two people have reportedly lost their lives in the collapse of a three-storey building under construction in Jabi District of Abuja yesterday. The building collapsed around 1.30p.m., killing two persons, while three sustained serious injury and were rushed to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.
