A military plane conveying military officers including the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Ibrahim Attahiru, has crashed near the Kaduna International Airport on Friday according to reports. It was said that, the Ill-fated plane exploded and got burnt completely when it touched the ground. All the crew members and passengers numbering 12 were said to have died in the crash. Barely one week after the Bende Divisional Police Station in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State was attacked and burnt by unknown gunmen, the Apumiri Ubakala Police Station in Umuahia South Local Government Area, in the early hours of yesterday, was attacked by hoodlums. COVID-19: FG restricts mass gatherings, re-introduces curfew

As part of the efforts to curtail further spread of COVID-19, the Federal Government has re-introduced a nationwide 12am to 4am curfew.
