Ondo State Police Command paraded four out of five students of the Adeyemi College of Education for allegedly gang-raping a female student of the school. The suspects’ names were given as Timilehin Akinola, Tobi Olagbaju, Olakunle Adetuyi, Adeyemi Adebisi and Eric Nwage. Eleven people have been arrested by the police for allegedly hacking into the bank accounts of customers and diverting a total sum of N150m. Oyelade Shola-Isaac, 32, Osuolale Hammid, 40, and Akeem Adesina, 33 are bankers. They were apprehended along with eight other suspects in connection with the fraud. A Katsina Senior Magistrate Court has remanded one Sani Idris, a 40 year-old man of Maska village in Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State, in prison custody for hypnotizing and having sexual intercourse with seven married women. The killing of a pregnant woman by suspected armed robbers at Okada, in Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo State has sparked protest by commercial bus drivers on Friday on the Benin-Ore Expressway.
