Fuel Subsidy payment costs N864.07bn in nine months –NNPC

A total of N864.07bn has been spent by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation between January and September, in subsidising Premium Motor Spirit, popularly known as petrol. This amount represents 31 per cent of the total revenue of N2.7tn generated by the corporation between January and September. Suicide attack on Kabul military hospital leaves 19 dead

In an attack on a military hospital in Kabul on Tuesday, at least 19 people lost their lives while 50 others were wounded. The attack got under way when a suicide bomber detonated his explosives near the entrance of the sprawling site. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control says Nigeria’s COVID-19 infections continues to rise as 90 additional cases were registered with two deaths on Monday. A 21-storey building which collapsed on Monday afternoon on Gerard Road, Ikoyi area of Lagos State, has left no fewer than 10 persons dead.
