Another major highlight of the event will be the auction of one of King Sunny Ade’s famous guitar masterfully painted award-winning artiste, Victor Ehikhamenor. “When you are given the opportunity to add a line to the history of a legend, you’d better ask God to take your hand and guide your senses. I’ve loved King Sunny Ade’s music for the longest time and his rhythm is one of the best companions in my studio when working.
“It was a pleasure creating on this guitar for his 70th birthday concert coming up this December. I just heard him say on TV ‘I have many guitars, but this is my favourite. I call it my baby.’ Now Bellagio, Italy just got warmer for me this winter morning,” he said.
