Dapo Oyebanji, popularly known as “Dbanj- Kokomaster”, has rolled out his latest project tagged “CREAM”, a talent hunt reality show to help young talented Nigerians grow in the creative industry. Dbanj did the unveiling at the Federal Palace Hotels in Lagos, Victorian Island, on Friday.
The musician told newsmen on the sidelines of the unveiling that “CREAM means Creative, Reality, Entertainment, Arts and Music. “It is an all encompassing arts platform to help grow the creative ingenuity of the youths in the country. “It should be the key in developing any nation and you cannot allow youths to waste their talent in scheme of things.
“Without creativity, we cannot grow to the level we want in this country and we have to provide a platform for youths to do so. “That is why I want to reward young creative minds in the Nigerian entertainment industry, for their intellectual property to pay them.”
He said that the platform was basically created to reward the tonnes of creative minds that do not have the right platforms to showcase their talent to the world. “Nigeria is filled with so much arts creativity and what better way to promote this great heritage than to give these young minds the right platforms to do so,” he added.
He added that “I am happy to bring the CREAM platform, which is supported by the Bank of Industry (BoI), MTN and D’kings Men Media Ltd, to help these young minds to get to their dream land.
