In compliance with the order of the Federal High Court, Abuja, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will temporarily suspend the recall process of Dino Melaye from the Senate. Mr. Melaye represents the Kogi West Senatorial District at the Upper Chamber. Ademola Adeleke, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun West Senatorial District by-election, has defeated  the All Progressives Congress candidate, Senator Mudashiru Hussain, with total votes of  97, 480.
