INEC shifts governorship, assembly polls to March 18

The Independent National Electoral Commission has postponed governorship and state assemblies elections earlier scheduled for Saturday to March 18. The commission took the decision at its management meeting in Abuja, which was convened on Wednesday after the Court of Appeal gave it the go-ahead to reconfigure Bimodal Voter Accreditation machines. Vote buying: EFCC arrests suspect with N32.4m cash

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Friday intercepted the sum of N32,400,000 allegedly suspected to be used for vote buying in Lagos State.
