Ogun State crisis : NLC, NUT chairmen sacked, 19 others suspended

Comrade Akeem Ambali, the state chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), has been dismissed by the Ogun State government. It was also reported that the vice and the state chairman of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Dare Ilekoya and 14 others were also dismissed. Also reportedly suspended were 19 officials of the union hacked for  alleged misconduct during the recently celebrated teachers day. Access Bank Grows Q3 Profit to N72bn

One of the nation’s leading financial institutions, Access Bank Plc has announced an impressive profit of N72 billion for the nine months ended 30 September 2016 based on enhanced business efficiency as a result of the effective execution of its long-term strategy. Male suicide bomber approaching IDP camp intercepted by troops

A male suicide bomber was intercepted and killed by troops of Operation Lafiya Dole deployed behind Bakassi Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp, Damboa road, Maiduguri, on Sunday. Col.
