Five persons have reportedly been hospitalized in Ondo as the Lassa fever epidemic which started as a rumour some weeks ago in Ondo State, has fully manifested. Arrested billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudi Dumeme Onuamadike, aka Evans, has led a team of policemen from the Federal Anti-kidnapping Unit to the detention camps he operated for people he abducted. He took operatives to the locations at the weekend. A Customary Court sitting at Agodi-Ibadan has dissolved the seven-year-old marriage between a retiree, Taofeek Giwa and Abiodun Omotayo, on Friday on the ground that the respondent beats the husband at will.
