USA becomes world’s biggest crude oil producer

According to Energy Information Administration (EIA) data released on Wednesday, the U.S. crude production has hit a whopping 11.6 million bpd, thereby making the United States the world’s biggest crude oil producer, pushing Russia and Saudi Arabia to the back seat. Five suspects arrested over alleged importation of military uniforms

Five suspects have been arrested by the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) in Onne, Rivers state, for allegedly importing military uniforms and other items. Customs Area II Comptroller, Aliyu Galadima, disclosed this yesterday when he paraded the items at Onne Port. Police in Edo State have arrested an 18-year-old man, Samuel Akpobome, for allegedly killing his mother for money rituals. Natural Gas Production Rise By 8% – NNPC

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) says 230.35 Billion Cubic Feet (BCF) of natural gas has been produced in the country in July. The Corporation, in its Monthly Financial and Operations report for July, said the production averaged a daily output of 7,678.17 million Standard Cubic Feet (mmscfd). It said the sum represented 8.81 per cent increase compared to the previous month, June 2018.
