Seyi Makinde, Oyo State Governor, on Tuesday signed the Oyo State Security Network Agency Bill 2020 for the Establishment of Amotekun Corps into law. The House of Assembly on March 3 passed the bill and forwarded it to the governor for his assent. The Speaker of the Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin, had earlier indicated that the signing of the bill would be speedy since it borders on common interest. Babatunde Keshinro, a banker with the Polaris Bank, was on Monday arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for allegedly forging a customer’s cheque and stealing the sum of N22.3m. Keshinro was arraigned before the Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja on nine counts bordering on stealing, forgery and fraudulent accounting. A storey building, reportedly belonging to Keystone Bank collapsed at Palmgrove area of Lagos State.
