Victorious Army Ministries’ General Overseer, Joseph Agboli Is Dead

The general overseer of Victorious Army Ministries (VAM), Reverend Joseph Agboli, is dead. The founder died on Wednesday. He had been under treatment at a London hospital. According to reports gathered, he was diagnosed with a heart-related ailment. Agboli, in his 50s, started Victorious Army Ministries in 1995. Not all insurgents that surrendered are criminals -Zulum

Babagana Zulum, Borno State Governor, has said over 2,600 insurgents who surrendered are in custody but said not all of them are criminals. Former Chad President Jailed For War Crimes, dies in Senegal

The former president of Chad, Hissene Habre, who was jailed for war crimes, has died on Tuesday in Senegal at the age of 79, Senegal’s justice minister said. 37 suspected Internet fraudsters have been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Oyo State. The suspects were arrested at various locations in Ibadan, the state capital, and Oyo town, by operatives of the Ibadan zonal command of the agency. COVID-19: Nigeria records 565 new cases, eight deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Monday recorded 565 new COVD-19 cases and eight deaths. This was made known in a statement by the NCDC on Tuesday. The centre said that this brings the total infections to 187, 588 since the index case in 2020.
