Adama Barrow, Gambia’s new President, has said that the country’s veteran leader, Mr. Yahaya Jammeh has finally agreed to cede power and leave the country. Gambian embattled President Yahya Jammeh has shut Paradise FM, the fourth radio station to be closed since last week as pressure mounts on him to concede defeat. Emirates flight grounded over snake onboard

A snake was found aboard an Emirates Airlines flight from Muscat to Dubai. The flight was cancelled after baggage handlers discovered a snake in the aircraft’s cargo hold.
