Fraud: US names at least 77 Nigerians in massive fraud, money laundering

80 persons, many of whom are Nigerian nationals, have been named by the United States Department of Justice on Thursday, to have conspired to steal millions of dollars from Americans and American businesses through online scams. Waiter shot dead for being ‘too slow with sandwich’

Apparently enraged at being made to wait for a sandwich, a customer shot a waiter dead at an eatery on the outskirts of Paris. The waiter’s colleagues called police after he was shot in the shoulder with a handgun in the Noisy-le-Grand suburb east of Paris on Friday night, a source said. Luxury brand Versace has apologised after an image on one of its T-shirts appeared to imply Hong Kong and Macau were independent territories. Some drivers in Georgia stopped their cars and rushed to grab dollars flying out of a bullion van on Tuesday. Floods in India’s northeastern state of Assam have killed 167 wild animals, says forest officials on Tuesday. The officials said that the  deaths was reported in Kaziranga national park, whose over 90 per cent of the area was inundated. “167 animals including 16 rhinos were killed in the Kaziranga national park due to floods. “The forest department and other agencies have rescued 64 animals so far,” wildlife officials said.
