The consideration of the $22.79bn external loan request by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) has been suspended by the Federal House of Representatives, without a specific date issued. Governor Umaru Ganduje of Kano State has announced Aminu Ado Bayero as the new emir of Kano, a few hours after Muhammadu Sanusi was deposed.
