A three-day industrial action scheduled for Thursday, by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Kano State chapter has been suspended. The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced through its head of the Nigeria national office, Patrick Areghan that, it is likely to postpone the 2021 May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in Nigeria. President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Usman Alkali Baba as acting the Inspector General of the Nigerian Police. Baba was a deputy inspector general before his promotion, which takes with immediate effect. Minister of Police Affairs Maigari Dingyadi made the disclosure at the Presidential Villa, Tuesday.
