A pastor has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command alongside three other suspects in connection with the discovery of human parts buried inside his church in Ota. The state’s Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, who paraded the cleric yesterday in Ota, said the arrested 77-year-old prophet, Babatunde, is the founder of a white garment Church at Itedo Isinmi Ayo Parish, Egan Road in Iyana-Iyesi area of Ota. Nasiru Adeyemo and Idayat Adeyemo, a couple, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly cutting off the finger of their daughter, Abibat, and abandoning her in a bush. Detectives attached to the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID), Lagos command,  have arrested Victor Umeh, a 38-year-old man for allegedly beating his girlfriend, Rachael Osu to death in his apartment along Ago-Palace road. In a strange development, Agugu Adau, an 18-year-old man, has allegedly killed his mother for refusing to give him a “disappearing” charm he claimed was his inheritance from his late herbalist father.
