Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Dr. Joseph Nwobike has been sentenced to one month imprisonment by a Lagos State high Court sitting in Ikeja yesterday, for perverting the course of justice. Nwobike, was however, discharged and acquitted of five charges. The SAN, who appeared in court in a blue suit, was accompanied by sympathizers to the detention camp, within the court premises, in preparation for prison. The Nigerian Export Promotion Council has said Nigerians are exporting goods worth over $40bn informally every year.
