Succes Masra, Chadian Prime Minister, said he has handed in his resignation, just over two weeks after his defeat to junta chief Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno in presidential elections. “I’ve just submitted my resignation and that of the transition government, which became irrelevant with the end of the presidential election,” Masra said on his Facebook page in a message authenticated by his team on Wednesday. Seven killed by generator fumes in Bayelsa music studio

Students of the Niger Delta University, Yenagoa, were among the seven persons found dead inside a music studio on Tuesday morning after inhaling what is suspected to be generator fumes. It was gathered that the music studio along Transformer Road in the Amarata area of Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, was operated by one of the deceased identified as Akpos Barakubo.
