17 worshippers die as Synagogue Church building collapses

It was indeed, a pathetic afternoon as members were crying while rescue teams moved scores of dead bodies of worshippers out of the building of the Synagogue Church based in Ikotun, Lagos.
One of he church building was said to have collapsed at about 2pm and it claimed the lives of
many who were lodged in the 5-storey building owned by the Church.
The affected building is said to be reserved for foreigners visiting the Church to seek spiritual help.
It was gathered that three ambulances which came for rescue were filled with dead bodies of those who died in the incident.
Although the building which had occupants, was also under going further construction on top to provide more
accommodation for worshippers before the unfortunate collapse.

As at the last update on Saturday, October 14, 2014, 17corpses have been recovered from the site.
