In order to resist arrest, suspected internet fraudsters reportedly unleashed an attack dog on detectives from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan zonal office. Upon receipt of intelligence reports and launch of preliminary investigations into their illegal activities, officers of the commission in the early hours of Thursday stormed the suspects’ hideout at Agara area of Ibadan. A group of gunmen, who invaded an operation site of an indigenous oil firm, Belemaoil, in the Akuku-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State have abducted five oil workers. Michael Arowosaiye, a gospel artiste with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has allegedly committed suicide. Arowosaiye, who regularly performed at RCCG programmes, was said to have hanged  himself with his belt on Tuesday at Sunnyvale Estate, Lokogoma District, Abuja.
