The Religious Preaching Regulation bill has been passed into law by the Kaduna State House of Assembly on Friday. The new Religious Preaching Regulation law substitutes similar law  of 1984. A Federal High Court in Abuja, on Friday, granted an ex-parte order that restored the operating licenses of African Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower radio after it was suspended by the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) over alleged failure to abide by broadcasting code. An ordnance UXO has exploded at a dumpsite in Imo State, killing three persons. According to the Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, Orlando Ikeokwu, the incident happened at Eziorsu community in Oguta Local Government Area of the state. He said the deceased were at a scrap site in the area when one of the victims while beating a scrap iron in order to compress it, triggered the ordnance. the bomb exploded killing the three of them at the scene. A former nurse has been convicted of murdering 85 patients at two hospitals in northern Germany and handed a life sentence. Judge Sebastian Buehrmann described Niels Högel’s killing spree as “incomprehensible”. Högel, who is already serving life for two murders, administered lethal doses of heart medication to people in his care between 1999 and 2005.
