COVID-19: Nigeria’s infections hit 188,880

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says that Nigeria’s COVID-19 infections on Wednesday stood at 188,880. A total of 637 additional infections and seven deaths were recorded on Aug. 25, the NCDC announced via its verified website on Thursday. The new infections however indicate a decrease from the 655 cases reported on Tuesday.
