Four NSUK Students Abducted by Suspected Kidnappers in Nasarawa

Hoodlums believed to be kidnappers have reportedly abducted four students from Nasarawa State University (NSUK), Keffi. The incident occurred in Angwan Ka’are, a community in Keffi Local Government Area, outside the university campus at 10:30 pm on Monday. The abducted students are Rahila Hanya (SLT 100 Level), Josephine Gershon (Computer Science 100 Level), Rosemary Samuel (Business Administration 100 Level), and Goodness Samuel (Geography 100 Level).

Abraham Ekpo, the University Head of Information and Protocol, confirmed the incident, stating that the university is working with security agencies to secure the students’ release. The Nasarawa State Police Command, represented by Public Relations Officer Ramhan Nansel, also confirmed the abduction and reported that they, along with the military, responded to a distress call and are actively pursuing the abductors. The Commissioner of Police has ordered a manhunt to ensure the safe return of the students.
