A gang of hoodlums named One Million Boys, who have been terrorising residents of various communities in Ibadan are on the watch list of the Oyo State Police Command. The gang recently stormed Kudeti area of the city where they attacked some youths with dangerous weapons. Another police station under construction in Anambra state has been demolished at Mkpunando in Anambra East Local Government Area. This is coming four months after the destruction of a police post and the killing of a security guard at the boundary between Ukpo and Abagana communities in Anambra State, over land tussle involving the two communities. Mr. Thomas Yamma, Sokoto State coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has said that NYSC will continue to provide loans to interested corps members to set up small-scale businesses. Yamma said this at the NYSC Cultural Carnival and Display of handicrafts produced by Batch ‘B’ 2016 corps members deployed to the state. The event held at the permanent orientation camp in Wamakko, headquarters of Wamakko Local Government Area. Mr. Udom Emmanuel, the Akwa-Ibom State Governor escaped death today as the Reigners Bible Church located along Uyo village Road collapsed leading to loss of lives. It was gathered that many worshippers and visitors including the governor Mr. Udom Emmanuel sustained serious injuries.
