Brazilians arrested in Lagos with imported canned cocaine

Two Brazilians have been apprehended by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos State, for unlawful importation of cocaine. The suspects, who claimed to be tourists, had allegedly smuggled the drug weighing 23.9 kilogrammes in sealed cans into the country. It was learnt that the narcotic, which was estimated at N310m, was found in their luggage during the screening of passengers on arrival at the airport. Nnamdi Kanu granted bail on health grounds

The detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, who is facing charges bordering on treasonable felony, has been granted by a Federal High Court in Abuja. The Katsina State Police Command has arrested an 18-year-old sex worker, Aisha Idris, for allegedly selling her three-month-old baby for N200,000.
