Two-years of uninterrupted power supply recorded in Kaduna communities

Gnami and Pakau communities in Kaduna have recorded two years of uninterrupted supply of electricity, the Federal Government on Tuesday has announced. It said the communities enjoyed uninterrupted power from the 90-kilowatt Solar PV off-grid system installed in the areas, as the villages were far from the reach of the national power grid. Joachim Iroko, the man who named his dog Buhari has been discharged by a Chief Magistrate’s Court in Sango, yesterday. Magistrate O. O. Adebo said the prosecutor failed to substantiate his case against Joachim Iroko and consequently struck out all charges preferred against him. In a police bulletin on Monday, the Nigerian police said they have dismissed three officers attached to Lagos State Police Command for extorting residents. The bulletin disclosed the identities of the culprits as Okelue Nkemeonye (Inspector with Number 136005), Braimoh Sunday (Sergeant with Number 355897) and Yusuf Olukoga (Sergeant with Number 359928).
