PDP chairman, Ahmed Makarfi survives auto crash

Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sen. Ahmed Makarfi, on Friday survived a multiple auto crash. The PDP disclosed this in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Dayo Adeyeye on Friday in Abuja. Adeyeye stated that the vehicle conveying Makarfi, was at the early hour of Friday involved in a multiple collision with other vehicles along Abuja-Kaduna Highway. Abducted Lagos pupils set free

The six abducted pupils of the Lagos State Model College, Igbonla, Epe, have been released by their captors on Friday after 64 days in captivity. It was learnt that the kids were released in Ajakpa Community in Ese Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State. Five suspects have been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force in connection with the kidnap of Governor Yahaya Bello’s Mother in May 2014. National Association of Government General Medical and Dental Practitioners (NAGGMDP) have lamented the poor state of health facilities and infrastructure in the state General Hospitals.
