President Muhammadu Buhari has declined his assent to the Electoral Act Amendment Bill 2018 for the third time, alleging irregularities and draft issues. The rejection of the Electoral Amendment Bill according to the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang was communicated to the National Assembly on August 30. Headmaster arrested for allegedly defiling 4 pupils in Enugu

A 50-year-old school headmaster, Idoko Nathaniel of Mkpamteulo village, Ezike community, has been arrested by the Police Command in Enugu State for allegedly defiling four pupils put under his care.
