Oil pipeline vandalism rise by 77% -NNPC

Oil and gas pipeline vandalism has risen by 77 per cent in June this year. This was made known by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) yesterday. The newly released June edition of the corporation’s Monthly Financial and Operations Report (MFOR) showed that 106 pipeline points were breached as against the 60 points vandalised the preceding month. The federal government of Nigeria has been slammed with $9bn in damages for letting down its 201 million residents by failing to complete a gas supply and production agreement that would have transformed their lives. Fraud: US names at least 77 Nigerians in massive fraud, money laundering

80 persons, many of whom are Nigerian nationals, have been named by the United States Department of Justice on Thursday, to have conspired to steal millions of dollars from Americans and American businesses through online scams.
