Woman on bail for illicit drug re-arrested with tramadol, others

A nursing mother, Mrs Rashidat Adebayo, has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency for dealing in illicit drugs. A statement on Sunday by the NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, said the suspect was arrested in Offa, Kwara State, with assorted drugs, including tramadol, swinol, diazepam and pentazocine injection ampules. Nigeria’s economy rises to 3.4%, strongest since 2014

The Gross Domestic Product, GDP, of Nigeria has increased by 3.4 per cent in 2021, representing the first annual growth since the COVID-19 pandemic induced recession of 2020 and the strongest growth in seven years since 2014.
