Reports from the Facebook account of the Minister of State for Labour and Employment,  Festus Keyamo, announced at about3am that the Organized Labour has called off its planned strike action after reaching an agreement with the Federal Government. Bodies of human casualties numbering three, a Volvo truck which plunged into the Epe River late Friday night have been recovered. The Volvo truck fell off the Berger bridge at Epe into the Epe River after it collided with a truck and was only retrieved about 1 p.m yesterday afternoon(Saturday). Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum had about 15 persons killed in his convoy by the deadly sect, suspected to be Boko Haram. This unfortunate event that happened on Friday is the second attack on the governor’s convoy in recent times around Baga. A gas tanker exploded around Iju-Ishaga/Ajuwon axis of Lagos, leaving scores of people injured, and properties burnt. The spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Agency, Nosa Okunbor, confirmed the incident. Urging Lagosians to stay calm as LASEMA Response Team is at Cele Bus Stop, Iju Ishaga. A strange incident happened at the Ikogosi warm spring site along Ipole-Ekiti road, when no fewer than 15 cows belonging to some Fulani herdsmen were struck dead by lightning on Saturday night at the outskirt of Ikogosi Ekiti community, Ekiti West Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
