Criminal charges have been filed against the immediate past governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, by the Kano State government over alleged $413,000, N1.38bn bribery. The state said it had assembled 15 witnesses to testify against Ganduje. Joined as co-defendants in the charge sheet dated April 3, 2024 were Ganduje’s wife Hafsat, and his son, Umar. Bobrisky charged to court for money laundering, abuse of Naira
Idris Okuneye, controversial cross-dresser, popularly known as Bobrisky, has arrived at the Federal High Court in Lagos for his arraignment on money laundering and naira abuse allegation. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had on Thursday filed six counts bordering on money laundering and abuse of the naira against Bobrisky. Bobrisky is scheduled to take his plea before the vacation judge, Justice Abimbola Awogboro.
