A Lagos based pastor, Fredrick Aramuwa abducted by hoodlums on the Idoani-Ifira Road, in Ondo State on March 31st, has been found dead on Easter Sunday and his lifeless body, dumped by beside the road. Unidentified gunmen reportedly attacked a correctional facility in Owerri, the Imo State capital, and freed inmates. A 35-year-old mother of six, Sukurat Olajoke, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly killing her one-month-old baby and dumping the corpse in the Ogun River. Alhaji Abdul-Fatai Gbadamosi, a 67-year-old cleric has appeared before a Magistrates’ Court in Lagos, for allegedly destroying the Aje shrine in Badagry. Gbadamosi is charged with malicious damage and breach of public peace. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted well-concealed parcels of cocaine and heroin being shipped to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. A suspected notorious trafficker, Sikiru Owolabi, who is behind at least two of the parcels, has been traced and arrested after several days of thorough and systematic surveillance by NDLEA operatives.
