4.9m tramadol capsules intercepted at Onne Port by NDLEA

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted a container bearing 4,996,200 capsules of tramadol weighing 2,498.2 kilogrammes at the Onne Port, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The seizure of the illicit drug concealed in 1,387 cartons on Tuesday, 18th May, 2021 followed a joint examination by NDLEA operatives and customs personnel on a container marked MRKU 0764717, which had since been on the agency’s watch list. Ogun governor’s aide faces 30 years in US prison for $350,000 fraud

Abidemi Rufai, a Senior Special Assistant to the Ogun State Governor, faces up to 30 years in prison if he is convicted of wire fraud. Prophet Wisdom Okoronkwo of Fountain of Liberation Church has been arrested by men of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl in the Ikotun area, Lagos.
