Investigation has begun by the Imo State Police Command of Police, over the killing of a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God in the state, Thompson Onyekwuru, aged 62. The pastor was allegedly stabbed to death on Wednesday, July 14, by one Obumneke Omyemechileuzo of Umukoto- Umudibia Nekede in the Owerri West Local Government Area of the state. Woman arrested for locking up five-year-old nephew for six months

A 43-year-old woman, Sharon Williams, has been arrested by the police in Lagos State for allegedly locking up and assaulting her five-year-old nephew, Micheal Ibiyome, for six months.
