Five suspected ritual killers have been arrested by policemen attached to the Kwara State Police Command in connection with the alleged murder of a commercial sex worker in Patigi in the Patigi Local Government Area of the state. Muhammed Yusuf, a suspected drug addict, has allegedly beaten his father to death in Lokoja, Kogi State. Armed men at the weekend, reportedly stormed Wawa District in Borgu Local Council area of Niger State and kidnapped the monarch, Dr. Mahmud Ahmed, from his palace. A 72-year-old man Gesture Omolade, alongside 42-year-old Ayodeji Adejugbe, have been remanded in a custodial centre for the alleged rape of a Nurse apprentice in Ekiti State. Four residents of Ajebamidele area of Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, on Wednesday, were allegedly kidnapped by gunmen on Tuesday.
