18 persons have been arrested by the Ondo State Security Network Agency also known as Amotekun, in a bus conveying weapons in Ondo town. The Amotekun corps said the bus was loaded with 500 pieces of weapons such as guns, knives, carriages and swords. CBN spends N58.6bn to print 2.52bn Naira notes valued at N1.1trillion

In its Annual Currency Operations report for 2020, the Central Bank of Nigeria revealed that it spent the sum of N58.6 billion to print 2.52 billion Naira notes valued at N1.1 trillion in 2020. Disclosing these yesterday, the apex bank also said it utilized $1.83 billion within the same year to fund Bureaux De Changes (BDCs) and Ministries, Agencies and Departments (MDAs) operations. A total of N864.07bn has been spent by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation between January and September, in subsidising Premium Motor Spirit, popularly known as petrol. Suicide attack on Kabul military hospital leaves 19 dead
