Unidentified gunmen reportedly abducted students and other travellers along the Birnin-Gwari highway in the early hours of yesterday. The premises of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), Awada, Onitsha station, was yesterday invaded by gunmen, while some staff members who were on night duty were brutalized. An eyewitness said the gunmen burnt a building, a company bus and another vehicle parked on the premises.
