Tochi Wigwe, daughter of late Access Bank founder Herbert Wigwe, has reportedly tied the knot traditionally with her partner, Wilson Omogbale Aikhomu, in a private ceremony.
The 28-year-old billionaire heiress reportedly exchanged traditional marriage vows with Aikhomu, an investment executive, at a quiet ceremony that has attracted attention on social media.
Wilson was said to have been a close friend of Tochi’s late elder brother, Chizi Wigwe, who died alongside their father, Herbert Wigwe, and mother, Chizoba, in a tragic helicopter crash in the United States in February 2024.
Following the devastating incident that claimed the lives of the Wigwe family members, Wilson reportedly maintained a close relationship with the family and continued to offer support.
That friendship is said to have eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship, culminating in their traditional wedding.
The ceremony was reportedly kept private, with the couple choosing to celebrate away from the public spotlight.
Reports also indicate that any additional marriage rites will similarly be conducted privately.
The wedding marks a new chapter in Tochi’s life following the tragic loss of her father, mother and elder brother.
