Hyacinth Idibia, younger brother of Nigerian music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, has spoken publicly for the first time since the controversy involving the singer and his new wife, Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, erupted online.
In an emotional Instagram post, Hyacinth shared a heartfelt message accompanied by lyrics from one of 2Baba’s songs, suggesting deep concern over the singer’s current situation.
“You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant. Lyrics meant to inspire, but somehow it’s unfolding in real time… Painful reality. Allow us save you, Oyinem’. You’ve been suffering for too long. God knows,” he wrote.
His message comes after weeks of mounting tension between 2Baba and Natasha. The situation intensified during an Instagram Live session with broadcaster Daddy Freeze, where the couple clashed openly, leaving viewers alarmed.
