Israel condemns Brazil’s President for likening Gaza war to Holocaust

President, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil has been condemned by Israel, following his accusation that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza, comparing its actions to the Holocaust. Lula said Israel’s military campaign was between a “highly prepared army and women and children”. The Brazilian president said this at the African Union summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Oba Kolawole Sowemimo, the Olu of Owode in the Obafemi/Owode Local Government of Ogun State, has been slammed with a two-month suspension for decorating a popular Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM 1 with new naira notes. Residents of Ibadan, Oyo State capital, on Monday hit the streets to protest the skyrocketing price of food and the state of the economy.
