Police in Delta state have arrested two fake Assistant Inspectors of Police, Bankole Odusi and Samuel Idowu, for impersonating police officers and unlawful possession of fire arms (improvise gun). Flood wreaks havoc in Osogbo, victims count loses

A four-hour torrential rainfall has caused flooding which destroyed houses in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State. An eyewitness said the flood destroyed property worth millions of naira, including public utilities. One of the affected places was the Osun State Government House in Oke-fia area of Osogbo as the flood collapsed the perimetre fence at the entrance of the building that houses Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
