In a bid to reduce loneliness and social isolation among its residents, Japan has appointed a “minister of loneliness” as the country deals with rising suicide rates. Japan Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga created the role in early February, taking after the U.K., which created its own such role in 2018. Three killed, nine women kidnapped by Gunmen in Katsina
Gunmen have killed three persons, abducted nine women and injured many others in Sabuwa Council of Katsina State. The bandits, who operated late Monday night into the early hours of yesterday, ransacked three communities of Mai Bakko, Kawarawa and Unguwar Bako. According to a source who pleaded anonymity, the deceased were identified as Ahmed, Jabir and Abubakar.
